Ga. bill promotes digital learning for students

Georgia lawmakers in the state House Education Committee on Wednesday advanced a bill to promote online learning for K-12 students, but stopped short of requiring all students to take an online course to graduate. State Sen. Chip Rogers, a Republican, presented the bill to the committee as a way to prepare students to work digitally in "a future outside the classroom."
