Transplant recipient feels organ donors should receive priority in organ allocation

A heart transplant recipient in New Zealand believes allocation of organ donations should be changed to give priority to those who themselves are registered donors, backing the views of an organ donation campaigner. He also supports the Human Tissue (Organ Donation) Amendment Bill, which would prohibit anyone from overturning a registered donor's wishes.
