Arkansas to establish statewide trauma system

Arkansas Gov. Mike Beebe has signed into law legislation that establishes the framework for a statewide system of trauma facilities, which are expected to be operational in two years. The system is designed to get trauma patients faster care, which could cut health costs, especially for long-term rehabilitation.
