Customers want average cups of joe

Companies selling regular coffee at reasonable prices are doing better than higher-end purveyors of lattes and other fancy coffee drinks. While Dunkin' Donuts and 7-Eleven convenience stores are seeing coffee sales grow, Starbucks and Caribou Coffee Co. are reporting declines.
