Illinois governor will present $26B capital improvement bill

Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn plans to introduce a capital improvement bill that would allow the state to repair some of its aging infrastructure. The bill would include funding of up to $26 billion. The state would spend about half of the funding on transportation projects and the remainder to repair school and university buildings. Quinn hopes to introduce the bill in the next few weeks.
