Stimulus to create huge new demand for D.C. office space

The U.S. economic-stimulus package will create new demand for 14 million square feet of D.C. office space, predicts the real estate services firm Cassidy & Pinkard Colliers, with 10 million square feet of that needed by the end of 2011. Since about 10 million square feet of new office space is projected to be ready for occupancy in 2010, the D.C. office market will be ready.
