Aventine to resume work on Indiana ethanol plant

Aventine Renewable Energy's exit from bankruptcy means construction can resume at its ethanol plant in Posey, Ind. The Illinois-based company ceased work on the facility in late 2008 and filed for bankruptcy protection in February 2009. The plant, which was 85% to 90% complete when construction stopped, should be operational this fall, said Bill Brennan, Aventine's chief accounting and compliance officer.
