Climate scientists take heat for global warming assertions

The science underpinning assertions that the world is warming may not be as solid as once believed, writes John Clinkard in this opinion article. The release of an e-mail exchange between climate scientists at University of East Anglia Climate Research Unit revealed that rates of global warming during periods dating to 1860 "were not statistically significant."
