Deutsche Telekom vows to increase number of women executives

The number of women managers for Deutsche Telekom, Europe's largest telecommunications company, will be doubled in the next five years, the company said. Political pressure to increase the number of female leadership is not the reason behind the move, CEO René Obermann said. "Having a greater number of women at the top will quite simply enable us to operate better," he says.
