NearVerse rolls out disposable social network

LoKast, an iPhone application from NearVerse, lets users create hyperlocal social networks for everyone within 300 feet -- then abandon the network for good when friends move out of range. The app's "disposable social network" allows people to share music, photos, links and contacts with those around them. The network would also allow bands and other creative types using the system to share music and Web content with their audiences.
