Niche wineries suffer from downturn

As the economy continues to struggle, more niche wineries are falling by the wayside. At least 10 vineyards and wineries in Napa Valley are likely to be sold this year, according to a report by Silicon Valley Bank. The economy already claimed Garretson Wines, Sauvignon Republic and Havens Winery, which all once had met with early success, but the founders of those wineries have found that there's still a future in wine.
