Physicians say they lack resources to help patients lose weight

A Harris Interactive survey of primary care physicians showed 89% said it is their responsibility to help patients lose weight but 72% had no one in their office who was trained to deal with weight issues. A separate survey of patients found 36% of those told they were overweight were never advised on ways to lose excess pounds.
