SAP aims to deliver innovation faster

SAP, the world's largest business-applications software company, is touting a new engineering approach that it says should streamline its innovation pipeline. The company has shifted 20% of its 12,000 software engineers into smaller, more agile teams tasked with producing rapid iterations of software, allowing a third fewer staff to be used on each project and speeding up the rate of innovation.
