"Volcker rule" proposal prompts changes at Citigroup

The Volcker rule proposal has prompted eight of Citigroup's 22 employees in its proprietary trading division to defect, sources said. The bank reportedly plans to replace at least some of those employees who left. Kevin Russell, head of Americas stock trading at Citigroup, said the company may increase the group's trading limits and capital, according to sources.
