Wendy's taps Facebook, Twitter for March Madness promo

Wendy's, in conjunction with Kaplan Thaler Group, has launched promotions on Facebook and Twitter to inspire people to build NCAA basketball championship parties around its offerings. On Facebook, the quick-service chain is holding a random giveaway of $50 gift cards for boneless wings to 100 users who host parties. On Twitter, the company is giving away three cards a day through April 4 for those who provide the quirkiest answers to a series of open-ended phrases, such as "If taste buds could talk ..."
