Study: Compression, laughter beat ultrasound in healing leg ulcers

Stimulating blood flow with compression bandages and support stockings, coupled with hearty laughter, works better than ultrasound technology in healing venous leg ulcers, researchers at the University of Leeds School of Healthcare found in a study published in the British Medical Journal. Improving patients' diet and exercise routines along with good nursing care were also found to be important.
