Ala. students want 5,000 pairs of shoes for people in need

Students in New Century Technology High School's Beta Club in Huntsville, Ala., are holding a drive to bring in at least 5,000 pairs of shoes for people in need in West Africa, South America and Central America. The students, who have researched the importance of shoes in developing countries, have partnered with 10 area schools and reached out to local groups and residents to collect shoes for adults and children.
