Crown Media, Nickelodeon emphasize original content at upfronts

Crown Media Family Networks and Nickelodeon, during their upfront presentations, laid out plans for increasing their original programming. Crown Media is working on several new series for the Hallmark Channel, as well as a 15-day block of Valentine's Day programming. Nickelodeon will be expanding its Dora the Explorer franchise with a new series called "Dora and Friends: Into the City!"
