Proposed bill would make all food in schools more nutritious

A bill is before the Oregon legislature that would make all food served in schools, whether through the cafeteria, vending machines or a la carte windows, meets the same criteria as the food in federal school meals programs. Some say the proposal is in response to increased childhood obesity throughout the country.
