Low-carb diets may not be safe, say doctors

Several doctors in the U.S. are warning dieters about the risks of low-carb diets such as Atkins after an obese woman fell seriously ill with stomach problems while following the program. A spokeswoman from the Atkins Foundation said millions of people are following low-carb diets without any health problems.
