Wyoming approves $190M in highway spending

Flush with cash from the oil industry, Wyoming lawmakers have approved $190 million in earmarks for highway spending across the state, helping to offset a sharp cutback in federal funding. Officials say the appropriation will not only improve the transportation infrastructure, but will also stimulate about $800 million in local spending.
