The experience of power grows in the mind, beyond the bounds of reality, a new study suggests. "Our research found that power led to perceived control over outcomes that were uncontrollable or unrelated to power" such as a roll of the dice, says Niro Sivanathan, an assistant professor at London Business School. It's a small jump from there to risky behavior and poor decisions.
