Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and other social-networking sites have become increasingly important to any major travel marketing program. Agents, suppliers and destination marketers who choose to ignore the phenomenon risk losing out on business opportunities. "We don't have a choice but to participate in these spaces," said Kristen Celko, STA Travel's vice president of marketing and e-commerce.
