Scottish council increases class sizes after legal challenge

Scotland's South Lanarkshire Council has agreed to lift a class-size limit of 25 for Year 1 students after parents challenged the legality of the limit. Parents wanted class sizes raised to 30 to increase the number of available spaces for students.
