Crews place 2,600 cubic yards of concrete for N.C. drawbridge project

Crews from Archer Western Contractors and the North Carolina Department of Transportation on Friday began pouring about 2,600 cubic yards of concrete for the replacement span of an eastbound drawbridge in Elizabeth City, N.C. The amount of concrete placed would be sufficient for paving 3.5 miles of driveway with a 12-foot width, according to this article.
