At just 15, entrepreneur creates mobile heart monitor

Fifteen-year-old Suman Mulumudi created a mobile heart sound monitor consumers and physicians could use to capture and assess heart sounds remotely. The device could reduce unnecessary echocardiograms, according to the young entrepreneur's company, Stratoscientific. Mulumudi and his business partner, who is a cardiologist as well as his father, also designed a device to help cardiologists measure the exact size stent needed during angioplasty.
