El Paso schools going artificially green

Spending up to $8 million to install artificial turf on 10 high school football fields may help each of these El Paso, Texas, schools to save 81,000 gallons of water annually, school board president David Dodge said. "I feel quite comfortable that at the end, these fields will pay for themselves," he said.
