Administration seeks inclusive energy strategy

Amid fighting over offshore drilling, the administration is channeling its effort into an energy policy that will diversify fuel sources, develop alternatives, reduce dependence on oil and combat emissions that lead to global warming. A series of public meetings will be held on energy in April, leading up to the creation of a five-year plan for exploration that should be released within the next six months.
