Analyst on cloud computing: Resistance is futile

Cloud computing will become so ubiquitous in the next five years that ignoring the still emerging technology "won't really be an option," said Frank Gens, an analyst with IDC. "If you are not thinking about and acting on delivering your own offerings through the cloud [within five years], you won't be in the mainstream anymore," he said.
