Nigerian agency calls for increased vigilance for radiological safety

The Nigerian Nuclear Regulatory Authority is calling for "constant vigilance" to ensure the safety of the country's radiological infrastructure and is working with the International Atomic Energy Agency to conduct training. The agency also said radiology, radiotherapy and nuclear medicine procedures in the country are not allowed without its approval.
