Retailers, landlords disagree on bankruptcy lease deadline

The collapse of Circuit City has heated up the debate over whether Congress should change the law to give tenants in bankruptcy more than 210 days to accept or reject existing store leases. The National Retail Federation supports such a change, but many property owners say giving retailers more time simply puts off the inevitable.
