Students respond to flexibility in classroom

A South Carolina teacher says her elementary-school students are responding to a practice that allows them to leave their desks when it's time to read or write. Students grab a stuffed animal, pillow or flashlight and find a nook in the classroom where they complete assignments in comfort.
