Sales of wines priced at $14 and up slid 6% last year, and that's great news for Cameron Hughes. The 37-year-old entrepreneur buys excess wine all over the world, puts his own label on the bottles and sells them through groceries and wholesale clubs. Getting started in the business meant running up credit cards and making dozens of sales calls daily, but eight years later his reputation is so well established that Hughes can operate on just a handshake.
