WFP to end aid flights to West Africa

Humanitarian air services to remote parts of West Africa will be shut down as of Friday because of a lack of funds, World Food Programme officials said Tuesday. The cessation will severely affect aid workers' ability to reach people in need in areas of poor infrastructure or uncertain security situations.
