The bipartisan trio of senators trying to craft a compromise climate-and-energy bill faces a difficult task of trying to gain the backing of the industry and some Republicans, while keeping liberals and environmentalists on board, according to Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt. "The difficulty that Senator Kerry or anybody has is we don't have 60 votes to pass a strong global warming bill that moves away from fossil fuels and greenhouse gas emissions," Sanders said.
