Multitasking kills your memory, scientists say

If you don't take a break from constant tasks -- such as checking a BlackBerry or tweeting -- you don't give the brain time to rest and consolidate memories and experiences, researchers say. "There are costs to multitasking and not pausing," says Adam Gazzaley, a neuroscientist at the University of California, San Francisco.
