SXSW tweets show the power of small groups

A study of recent tweets shows that the SXSW conference dominated Twitter all week, despite its Web presence being powered by a relatively small number of hard-core tweeters, writes Simon Dumenco. That goes to show that despite Twitter traffic climbing to 50 million tweets a day, it's possible for a small, focused effort to shape the online conversation, he notes.
