Colleges turn dining halls into restaurants

About 44% of college students told Technomic last year that the dining hall scene affects their choice of which school to attend. Campuses are feeding the growing demand for better food with healthier menus, a wide variety of ethnic cuisines and dining halls that look like modern restaurants rather than old-fashioned cafeterias, industry experts say.
