First gay-centered NYC hotel boasts of "straight-friendly" amenities

Owners of The OUT NYC hotel are touting the property's distinction as the first gay-focused hotel in New York City while also offering amenities that appeal straight customers. The recently opened boutique hotel showcases amenities specifically marketed to the LGBT community, such as its XL nightclub and a 5,000-foot wellness center. "With 105 rooms, we don't expect to house many people, but we expect The OUT NYC will become the epicenter of gay life for LGBT New Yorkers," said co-owner Ian Reisner.
