Teachers say iPads benefit students in Mass. district

Students in a Massachusetts school district are testing the use of iPad tablet computers in the classroom for about 20 to 25 minutes each day. The program, which primarily is for kindergarten students, includes using the iPads to enhance lessons in math, spelling and phonics. Educators say the program has helped engage students in lessons and allows students to move at their own pace using the technology.
