Amendment seeks to restore control-tower funding

An amendment co-sponsored by Sen. Jerry Moran, R-Kan., and Sen. James Inofe, R-Okla., would restore some $50 million to the federal budget for air traffic control towers. The amendment would remove the same amount of money from the Federal Aviation Administration's research and capital funding.
