Confidence drops among homebuilders as market adjusts

Homebuilder confidence has unexpectedly fallen to an index reading of 44 this month, marking a second month of decline amid a pause as infrastructure adjusts to a rebounding market, observers say. The National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo index is well below the neutral point of 50 but shows a sharp improvement from the reading of 28 in March 2012.
