Poet Angelou encourages educators at ASCD conference

Educators were urged to persevere in the profession -- with sass, passion and humor, among other things, by poet Maya Angelou during her address at the ASCD 68th Annual Conference & Exhibit Show this weekend in Chicago. Angelou shared with attendees her gratitude for educators and told stories of how many of people influenced her throughout her life.
