Mayer discusses Yahoo's ad products at 4A's conference

Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer says she will become more involved in advertising after the company's banner-ad business experienced several quarters of declining revenue. Speaking at the 4A's Transformation Conference, Mayer also fielded a query about Yahoo's plans to monetize its acquisition of Tumblr, describing the challenge as one of providing ads that are as "compelling and as beautiful as the art projects and poetry and other things that you see posted there."
