Miller Lite may extend retro packaging makeover to glass bottles

The retro craze has turned into big success for Miller Lite with its can design from the 1970s helping to turn the brand around after six years of decline. The can is so successful that its end-run has been pushed back to September 30, and the company is eyeing glass for an extension of the retro look. "We're looking very hard at the bottles...It seems like a really good idea to us," said Ryan Reis, MillerCoors senior director of the Miller family of brands.
