NYC ideal for early FirstNet deployment, police official says

New York Police Commissioner William Bratton said New York City is an ideal location for early deployment of the new broadband network for first responders because of its cutting-edge public safety technology and infrastructure. "I believe New York City would certainly be ideal for the FirstNet initiative, and many other cities around the country also are moving very quickly to be in that type of position," Bratton told the FirstNet board.
