Organic basil sold at Trader Joe's is recalled after salmonella test

Infinite Herbs has issued a voluntary recall on 600 units of its 2.5-ounce packages of organic basil, sold at Trader Joe's, because of possible salmonella contamination. A random FDA test on the product yielded a positive result for salmonella, but no illnesses have been reported. The affected basil is marked with a package date of Feb. 21 and was shipped to Trader Joe's stores in Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and southern Virginia.
