Pentagon awarded up to $12B in contracts for February

The Pentagon announced contracts worth up to $12 billion in February, a 48% drop from the same month last year. The drop in contracts has affected defense firms, experts say. “What we’re seeing right now is people pulling back, saving their money, waiting to see what next year’s budget is going to be,” said Mark Amtower, a contracting consultant.
