President Barack Obama's request for a review of deportation policies could weaken immigration enforcement, said Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala. "It is astonishing that the president would order an 'enforcement review' not for the purposes of repairing enforcement but weakening it further," Sessions said. Obama said he requested the review to make deportation policies "more humane."
