Colorado bill may increase cord blood donations

Colorado legislators have introduced a bill they hope will provide the Colorado Stem Cells Cure Fund with the funds needed to promote the collection of umbilical cord blood. The bill would instruct the Colorado health department to encourage cord-blood donations and create a program to collect donations at any hospital in the state.
